Global womenswear brand, Naked Wardrobe, in search of an Associate Tech Designer to join our fast-paced and growing, dynamic team. This candidate will be working alongside our design and production teams in preparation for all future collections.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the design and fit development of apparel and accessories following the brand aesthetics of Naked Wardrobe.
- Create and maintain accurate tech packs, including specs, graded specifications, technical design and construction details in WFX and Adobe Illustrator.
- Prepare fit samples for fittings, measuring garments, evaluating workmanship, and reviewing tech packs.
- Assist in fitting sessions, capture photos while highlighting details and documenting accurate fit notes
- Organize and maintain sample closet and fit reference library.
- Communicate clear fit comments to vendors in tech packs and email correspondence to efficiently solve any design and fit development issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical Design
- 3-5 years of Technical Design experience in apparel industry
- Passionate about fashion – loves fabric, fit, and function and has knowledge and experience in draping and sewing
- Must know how to create tech packs in a PLM system such as WFX, Centric, etc.
- Tech savvy - proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
- Excellent organizational, analytical skills, detail oriented
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Team player and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
